one of the shots I took from this past Saturday at red maple. The Dj was spinning and I was messing around with the exposure.
was a good night, very good turnout, wasnt quite in the mood for it but all in all it was something I needed. Couple glasses of wine and I was feeling pretty damn good.
i think thats why i'm different though, i try to make sure that at any given event that I do that I TRY to take at least ONE photo that seems artistic and I only shoot on manual, period. because as much as event photography is paying small bills, at times it can really feel like its hurting my artistic side because when you get down to it, event photography is just simple point and shoot. anyone with a nice camera can do it. trying to make sure that I stay close to my roots and trying to make sure that no one can do what I do quite like how I do it. [shrugs]. but event photography is not something I want to do for much longer.
